Kabaena Island
Kabaena is an island in the
Flores Sea, Indonesia, off the coast of Sulawesi. It is
a part of South East Sulawesi province. Its area is 873
km².
Kabaena Island lies at the southern peninsula of
Sulawesi, from which it is separated by the Kabaena
Strait. The island lies exactly to the west of Muna
Island, 15 miles away, on the Muna Strait. The island is
hilly and offers many wonderful panoramas.
Kabaena is an islands where
is south of South East Sulawesi Province and one of the
beautiful island. If we want to go to this island you
must take a wood boat in 4 hours from poleang port to
this islands. If you need to take one day, get for
traveling in Tuesday but you will not find anything and
there is not know how is the island legend. So that,you
take a couple a days for traveling in Kabaena island.
Therefore, you take a Sunday for your journey in wood
boat.
Kabaena legend said that this island is one of the Genie
Empire as if when you’re in the islands, people said,”
don’t fullytalkless” so you must belive that there’s
others world beside human life. We must respect for this
faith therefore we could getting safely for adventuring
in this islands.
When you’re in 15 minute before landing in the port with
your wood boat. You’ll see a beautiful mountain which
curve shape as human bottom. Sometime become a parameter
for sailor when this mountain is saw more claudy. It’s
means that we do not sailing to anywhere. Kabaena
People’s belive that when mountain has change whithout
climite change that saw billaw in middle of the sea. Of
course,it’s too dangerous for sailing.
Kabaena’s people came from philipine so that it’s look
from their face and eyes which have hust white yellow
and slit eyes. This people is often as Moronene tribe
and have a separate language. So, the most interesting
from Kabaena’s people here is women whom has beautiful
and uniqe. But that way women of Moronene’s here most of
them is widow. When foreigner would has come to this
island that must be fascinated to Kabaena’s women.
Beside that women has magician to make new camer for
falling in love with her.
In other circumstances Kabaena’s island just has one
electric generator for all village which has 5 village
in Kabaena’s island cause most of those has still
forestry. Therefore,for efficiency using electric
generator must be changed as one countryside to others.
So if we were in the village where had not light
electric lamp and all of house in the village’ could be
in darkness. Just conceiving,it’s hard to go anywhere in
the night. More over it’s often in the night many
strange event in the village where people’s rarelly here
meet some genie whom being activity in the night.
Sometime if there’s people as like new comer in this
islands would be disturbed from dissimilar world.
Hem,it’s so dreadful.
Sometime,they might show in daytime and transforming as
human. People’s village said that had ever governmental
officer when he had been riding motorcycle to the
village and passed forest. There’s a women in tip of
forest came over to him and stopping his motorcycle. She
wanted to came with the motorcycle with him. Cause, this
officer might not guess anything. So,she and the officer
were going on passing the forest together. But in the
middle of their journey. The women called him for
stopping the motorcycle cause the place where its had
been reached. Though in the middle of the forest.
That’s a legend of magician of journey in the Kabaena
had ever came to. So many interesting story in the
Kabaena island but we could continued in anytime
